Terms and Conditions

1 ORDERING

Ordering with Dorset Safety Footwear is Easy. When you find the style you want to order click ‘add to cart’ and the product will appear in your shopping cart at the top right hand corner of the page. When you have finished click on your shopping cart to view your goods. When you are ready to order the goods just click ‘proceed to check out’ and you will be taken to a secure payment page where we will need to take your name, delivery address and payment details.

2 DELIVERY

We aim to dispatch all orders received before 12 noon within 3-5 working days subject to availability.
Sievi Products come from Finland so please note delivery time scale on this product will take longer.
Our working days are Monday to Friday and do not include Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays.

We call before delivering to check the Customer is at home and then deliver during the following 2 hours. If the customer fails to be at home the goods will have to be collected from our store.
In store collection is also available (free of charge)

3 OUT OF STOCK ITEMS

Whilst every effort is made to ensure you receive your order within the estimated time of your delivery request it is sometimes possible that some items maybe out of stock. Should any item not be available we will contact you by e-mail with the estimated delivery time. You have the option to cancel your order at any time if you do not want to wait.

4 DELIVERY CHARGES

UK only (if outside the UK please contact us to discuss order details and delivery costs via E-mail)
Mainland UK 3-5 Days delivery £3.50 Inc. VAT - Please make sure you are available to sign for delivery.

5 SATURDAY DELIVERY

If you require Saturday delivery, please contact us for a quote. Our carriers charge a premium for Saturday delivery and this can vary depending on your location.
Deliveries will not be made under circumstances on any of the following days:
1. Sundays
2. Bank Holiday Mondays
3. Good Friday
4. Christmas Day
5. Boxing Day
6. New Year’s Day

6 PAYMENT

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Switch and Solo.
Payments by cheque are accepted however goods cannot be despatched until we receive the cheque and the time it takes to clear through our bank (usually 5 working days). If you do decide to pay by cheque, the delivery schedule of your order may vary.

7 CANCELLATION AND RETURNS

You may cancel the order for any reason up to the point of dispatch and any payments made shall be refunded in full within 28 days

If the goods are faulty or unsuitable you must notify us by e-mail within 7 days. If you fail to do so you will be deemed to have accepted the goods. If the goods are faulty or unsuitable you will need to return them within 28 days of delivery. You will be entitled to a replacement or full refund plus any return postal charge (for faulty goods only).

Goods must be returned to us at your expense within 28 days of cancellation in the original packaging and should be adequately insured during the return journey. You will receive a refund for the Goods except for return postal charges. If you fail to return the Goods following cancellation, we will be entitled to deduct the cost of recovering the Goods from you.

Goods may be returned to us if unsuitable within 28 days of delivery in their original packaging and in an unworn and as new condition. Customers are responsible for the safe return of goods at their own expense and to include their name and address, invoice number, reason for return and whether they would like a replacement or a refund.

2   When you order, we need to know your billing information and card information. We do not store this information beyond the validation and verification required during purchase. This allows us to process and fulfil your order. You have the option to withhold personal information that is not required for the order process

In order to maintain the accuracy of our database, you can check, update or remove your personal details by info@dorsetsafetyfootwear.co. We use a technology called "cookies" as part of a normal business procedure to track patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. A cookie is an element of data that our Website sends to your browser which is then stored on your system. You can set your browser to prevent this happening. Any information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you change your browser settings.

6   In order to process credit/debit card transactions, the bank or card processing agency may require to verify your personal details for authorisation outside the EEA (European Economic Area). Your information will not be transferred outside the EEA for any other purpose.
